Here Is What's Happening at IBOtoolbox!
Only one more month left of 2016 and IBO continues to be at the forefront boasting over 6 Million visitors for the month of November! With the new commission system in place, it makes IBOtoolbox even more attractive to these visitors! These visitors have arrived to IBO looking for what you have to offer based on the information you have put into the platform. That being said, this is not just ordinary traffic, this is organic search engine traffic - there is a huge difference! Visitors are arriving at IBO because they have put in search terms that equal what you have written about in your press releases, wall posts and comments you have left. They are actually interested in what you have to offer!

As we close out 2016, smart marketers will continue to ride this wave right up until the end of the year and then they will reap the benefits of the new year! I encourage all of you to ride along! Don't just sit on the sidelines waiting for things to happen, make it happen for you!

Quality Commenting on Press Releases at IBOtoolbox - Training
At IBO, members can comment on other member press releases. Additionally, if you have at least 5 stars, you earn 5 credits (10 for IBO contributor badge holders) per press release that you comment on. While commenting massively can certainly help you rack up IBO credits, you need to ask youself if those comments you are leaving are "quality" comments. With the new Comment Cleanup system in place, quality commenting is now more important than ever!

If you are leaving comments that have nothing to do with the PR but maybe just acknowledging that particular PR, you really are not adding value to the press release nor do you really appear interested in what the writer has to say. Even worse - it is kind of obvious that you didn't even read the PR. Here are examples of what I mean:

"Great PR, thanks for sharing!" OR "Excellent PR, liked and shared!"

Most of us have gotten these kinds of comments on our PRs, right? When I get thise comments, I think to myself, wouldn't it be nice if people would tell me why this PR is great or excellent or the value they are getting from my PR. We all want people to comment on our PRs, but a good, quality comment that actually adds something to the conversation and is worth keeping people engaged and interacting! Below is a video Mrs. Yollis' 3rd grade classroom did on quality comments.

I love what these kids have to say about always being positive and specific in your comments! I hope that you enjoyed this lesson as much as I did! As mentioned previously, everything we do at IBO gets indexed in the search engines - this includes comments! Additionally, since 96 percent of the daily traffic is non-member traffic, you never know who might be reading those comments!

I am often asked which banner size gets the best results or best click through rate at IBOtoolbox. There are four banner sizes that are available for you to run at IBOtoolbox:

468X60 Banner This banner is one of the most common size banners and can be ran on your IBOsocial profile, other members IBOsocial profiles, IBOsocial.com main page, IBOtoolbox Wall, IBOtoolbox News, IBOanswers top and IBOgigs. This size banner averages between 3-5% click through rate.

250X250 Banner This size banner can be ran on IBOtoolbox Right, IBOtoolbox News, HomeBizBlogs.com, IBOanswers Right and IBOtube Right. The click through rate on this size banner averages between 5-7%.

728X90 Banner This banner is referred to as a "Leaderboard" banner and is probably the most popular size used and for good reason! This size averages an 8-10% click through rate! This size banner can be ran on IBOtoolbox Top, IBOlist Top, IBOtube Top, IBOanswers Bottom, Rebrandable Traffic and IBOtoolbox News.

320X100 Banner This is the common size for mobile devices. This size banner is ran on IBOmobile and is one of the most prized positions in the entire platform since it is only viewable to mobile users! To figure out what your click through rate or CTR is, simply take the number of clicks divided by the number of views (impressions or times the banner is actually shown). Hi Kris, learned a lot from the kids in Mrs Yollis 3rd grade classroom video. This is an important newsletter on how to make quality comments on PR's.Quality comment indicates that the reader has read and understood completely what was delivered by the writer.The writer then expects a relevant comment on the subject matter in order to keep the conservation engaged with the reader.Thanks for sharing Kris.

Thanks Kris, these are excellent tips to follow when posting comments. I read the PR's because they're interesting as well as helpful. Then there are those PR's with humor, interesting stories and so on. Also if I have a question about something related to business, I look for PR's, with that question in the Title. The children words were very wise, and they have a great Teacher, something that is extremely rare these days.
